Entry 23

August 20th 2008 7:27 A.M.

I’m being watched. I’ve always known the window allows viewing in both directions, but none of the A.H. have seemed to noticed until now. From the number of appendages, I can surmise it’s one of the true caste. Furthermore it seems to be a young reproductive morph, a princess if you will. She appears to be endlessly fascinated by our general goings on.

I’ve watched them build, hunt, gather, and just exist for months now. It seems I’ve been noticed after all this time. If past events haven’t shown me the repercussions of such an action, I’d almost be tempted to let her through the gateway.

Billy has been busy fine tuning his programming in preparation of his next visit to the A.H. world. Yes, I said he is fine tuning his programming. Billy is always testing new functionality and software. He makes a backup copy of his current settings then tests things out. If it functions to his liking he incorporates it into his permanent systems. He is selectively evolving himself. I couldn’t be more proud. He has had to “consume” more metal to assume a solid human form on the other world. He himself suggested that since a princess morph has taken an interest in our faces that maybe he might be able to communicate effectively, having learned their complicated languages from observation. He has actually taught me a great deal of it. However, I am still miles behind him. The only things I can not perform is the bobbing of their flashing antennae as I do not possess such an appendage. Billy has reassured me that those actions aren’t all that important unless used by itself. Nevertheless, I will be recording the results of his visits promptly I assure you. Still, knowing I’m being watched by something so alien is quite unsettling. I wonder if the princess feels the same way?
