I haven’t the words to express what wholly terrible thing has befallen upon my intrepid team. We’ve entered the gateway only for it to malfunction and close behind us. We, are stranded. Stranded here in this foreign place. I can’t understand how this could’ve happened. All the readings were normal, no overheating or anything that would’ve caused it to malfunction this way. Everything was running perfectly. I suppose it is only a matter of time until another team of engineers repair it and we can all return home. Although we have had a day and a half to take stock of our surroundings. This place we have dubbed Technospace.
Technospace consists of three free floating islands surrounded by an seemingly endless white expanse. A large stairway leads up to the very spot we entered from the gateway. Each island has a huge glass dome covering an abandoned laboratory-like facility. The first island is the smallest and closest to the entrance. The second is the next to smallest or the second largest, however you wish to perceive it. The third is massive approximately the size of downtown Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. All of which are completely uninhabited.
Since we have no idea of how long we may be stranded, we’ve already gotten the facilities up and running. Some agricultural experiments will supply us with food for the time being. We’ve also set up water condensers to collect some fresh drinking water, should our own supply begin to dwindle.
I do hope help arrives soon. Nevertheless, we shall continue our journals as a catalog of this place and the happenings within. I have faith Geneticorp will find a way to bring us home.
