Entry 16

Those fools! I can not believe they would do that! Such stupidity it actually causes me physical pain. They are bloody daft I say! I’ll explain why I am so unbelievably, absolutely livid.

A small team of my colleagues decided to go against my advice and go to the world through the gateway. They left four hours ago. I had to watch from my seat in the observation room. By the time I saw them and got to the gateway chamber, they had already departed. I watched as the creatures casually tore them to pieces and carried them off. They spied me through the gateway skein and came running. I close the gateway… there was so much blood…

One of the creature’s arms made it through as it closed shearing it off. Once I regained my senses i took it back to my lab for analysis, hoping to clear the blood from my memory. Nevertheless, I Still see that horrid scene when I close my eyes.

Billy has arrived at my side and is attempting to comfort me. He is such a good boy.

Damn it! this was supposed to be a good year… It seems to be a year bathed in the blood of my research team.
